PLACE GAME WORKSHOP FOR BELEVEDERE POINT NA MARCH 7
OMAHA – The Belvedere Point Neighborhood Association (BPNA) is partnering with Omaha by Design to host a Place Game workshop Saturday, March 7. Registration for the event will begin at 9:15 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 3004 Belvedere Boulevard. The two-hour workshop will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
The BPNA runs from 30th to 34th and from Curtis to Laurel. During the workshop, trained Omaha by Design facilitators will lead small groups through the area, asking them to take note of what they see, hear and feel. The groups will then convene for a brainstorming session to identify opportunities for improving the area.
In 2009, all groups that complete a Place Game workshop and apply for grant funding will receive a free tree as well as assistance with site selection and planting.
Omaha by Design conducts Place Game workshops free of charge from March through October. For more information, contact Teresa Gleason at teresa@omahabydesign.org or 402.554.4011.
