South Omaha Unveiling
The Greater Omaha Chamber will unveil the South Omaha Development Project Master Plan at a series of April events. An open house luncheon will be held Sunday, April 18, from noon to 2:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5005 S. 23rd St. A community showcase is set for Tuesday, April 20, from 4:30 to 6:30pm at Metropolitan Community College’s South Omaha Campus in the Industrial Training Center Conference Center. Grand Opening Celebration
The grand opening of Midtown Crossing, a 15-acre mixed use urban development centered on a revitalized Turner Park, is set for Tuesday, May 18, at 11:00am. Governor Dave Heineman, Mayor Jim Suttle and Mutual of Omaha Chairman and CEO Dan Neary are among those scheduled to participate in the ribbon cutting. EO at Earth Day
Mike McMeekin, co-chair of Environment Omaha and president of Lamp, Rynearson & Associates, will speak at Earth Day Omaha 2010. The event will be held Saturday, April 17, from noon to 8:00pm in Elmwood Park. McMeekin will discuss the Environment Omaha initiative at 1:00pm on the main stage.
