A consensus emerged in favor of a safe, attractive and manageable park for the subdivision.
-
The park should be a relatively quiet place for walking or sitting, with a play area for small children.
-
Landscaping should enhance the creek and be low maintenance.
-
Concerns were expressed that the fence along the west end of the creek is inadequate and the existing fence should be extended or replaced to prevent falling into the gully.
-
Trimming trees and underbrush could increase visibility along the creek.
-
A walking path around the entire site is desirable.
As the plan develops, City/County approval, on-going maintenance, flooding, creek ownership and funding will need to be addressed.
