All great cities have a distinct identity, a powerful image. Often a city’s most dramatic and iconic views are its places of civic importance at night. That’s why one of the recommendations for Civic Omaha in the Urban Design Element calls for lighting significant structures. Here are some examples of lighting that is energy efficient and designed to minimize light spill beyond the structure being illuminated. |
