Even the feathered crowd at Fontenelle Park seemed appreciative of Mutual's volunteer effort.
Throughout the month of September, Mutual of Omaha employees across the country are leaving their offices, rolling up their sleeves and making a difference in their communities by volunteering with a local organization. More than 1,100 Mutual employees in the Omaha metro and nearly 50 offices across the country are participating in the month-long effort.
On Sept. 8, more than 70 Mutual employees volunteered in the Benson-Ames Alliance, sprucing up three parks – Benson, Fontenelle and Gallagher – and one triangle garden in the Metcalfe-Harrison Neighborhood Association.
