The B-AA has identified downtown Benson as its first priority for revitalization. August 2008 marked the launch of the Maple Street Corridor Project. The B-AA commissioned Dan Gardner, principal associate with Houseal Lavigne Associates in Naperville, Ill., to conduct a housing and retail market analysis of downtown Benson in conjunction with the project.
