11th Street & Jackson Area - East
Side
Participants noticed that the east side
of 11th on Jackson is well lit had good traffic flow and ample
space for activities. They liked the pedestrian friendly aspects
of the intersection like the traffic calming effect of the
sidewalk bulbs and the easy access of the curb cuts.
The unused space, sporadic lighting and
lack of identity detracted from the area.
