11th Street & Jones Area
A good start has been made on the old dock
area of the Old Market Lofts with seating, music and planters.
The team appreciated the areas created by the sidewalk bulbs
and the presence of trees.
The area seemed uncoordinated and participants noticed the
terrible state of the paving on Jones west of 11th, and the
poor signage in the area.
Short Term
- Street Repair on Jones Street between 11th and 13th.
- Install better lighting.
- Clean up parking lots.
- Add historical signs.
Long Term
- Encourage alley gardening
- Add Public art & planters
- Add information and merchandise/food kiosks
