What the Place Game Team Liked Best
The Place Game participants liked the small town charm of the district with its old buildings and details.

What Could Be Improved
The team felt that parking is inadequate and that signage is poor.  They observed the buildings are not cohesive architecturally and streets and sidewalks are neither clean nor well maintained.

Short Term

• Improve signage.
• Turn the flag pole triangle at 58th into an entrance with
  flowers, sculptures, etc.
• Add red carpets for entrances to all businesses,

• Add archway and sculpture for entrance to Benson in the triangle at 58th street.
• Add historic street lighting.
• Put in new LED technology lighting for the buildings.
• Remove modern facades and get “back to the brick.”
• Add off-street parking with clear signage.
• Add pedestrian signage, visible from sidewalk, 
  not just from street.
• Add additional street lights at the corners.
• Construct a pedestrian bridge at 60th Avenue.
• Add outdoor seating, possibly above ground on the bridge.
• Convert the gravel parking lot to a green space.
• Add a elevated sidewalk on both sides of the street
  with a platform over Maple Street for a food court.
