What the Place Game Team Liked Best
The Place Game team noticed good potential for signage improvements and an entrance to the neighborhood. They liked the existing landscaping and saw expansion opportunities with room to grow and improve the corridor.

What Could Be Improved
They felt the area looks dangerous and unsafe, even abandoned in places with unkempt sidewalks and generally is not clean.

Short Term

• Spray to destroy weeds.
• Investigate reuse or replacement of old sign near Military – NW Radial intersection.
• Improve and add landscaping.
• Start an Adopt-a-Median Program to clean and enhance roadway green space.
• Clean up the area’s store fronts.

Long Term

• Improve lighting along the street.
• Encourage store front renovations and restoration.
• Remove concrete to get rid of Soviet architecture look.
• Add Murals and art to blank walls.
