Park Avenue Ford Birthsite
Place Game

Perk Avenue Café hosted the Ford Birthsite Neighborhood Association for a Place Game on July 26, 2005.  About 20 neighborhood residents set out in four groups to evaluate Park Avenue between Pacific and Poppleton, the intersections of Park Avenue at Woolworth, Park Avenue at Ed Creighton Boulevard, and the Ford Birthsite.

Place Games encourage and rely on input from everyone.  We are delighted that young Trea favored us with improvement ideas for the area.

Several major themes emerged from the session. Those themes are presented in the link below followed by the observations and recommendations of each of the Place Game Teams. Place Game participants examined traffic, signage, landscaping, and other aspects of the area.

Emerging Themes

Each team for all the sites visited developed specific short-term and long-term improvement ideas. Their concepts for Regency are presented here.  Web site visitors are encouraged to make comments and suggestions on the Place Game ideas.
