What the Place Game Team Liked Best

The Place Game group liked the proximity to Hanscom Park with its mature trees and the commercial potential of the intersection.

What Could Be Improved

The group felt the area is noisy and ugly with many vacant buildings and heavy traffic.  They noticed loitering and felt there was a lack of a police presence.

• • Improve security at the high-rise building.
  • Clean litter and debris out the corner of Hanscom Park and add lighting.
  • Install planters and plant small trees.
  • Landscape the convenience store / filling station corner.
  • Add signage.
  • Police drug dealing and prostitution.
  • Open the entrance to the park.

 Long Term

• • Clean out corner of Hanscom Park and add lighting.
  • Enlarge law enforcement presence with a neighborhood based police precinct.
  • Encourage business development.
  • Improve lighting.
  • Institute one-way streets for traffic control.
  • Remove bus stops.
