What the Place Game Team Liked Best

Workshop participants liked the access to Regency Court and Regency Parkway and nice view of green space, common areas and homes.  They appreciated the abundance of space and lighting.

What Could Be Improved

The team saw signage as inadequate and felt that intersection was plain and unattractive with utility boxes, poor tree and street maintenance. The intersection lacks uniqueness and could benefit from improved irrigation and a more contemporary look and feel.

Short Term
  • Improve signage, remove dead trees and prune viable foliage.
  • Repair streets and add plantings in medians.
  • Add seating for comfort.
  • Hide utility boxes to improve image.
  • Generally perform better overall maintenance.

     Long Term

    • Make repairs to streets, curbs and sidewalks.
    • Add distinctive lighting to improve identity.
    • Plant flowers in median.
    • Add a sprinkler system for irrigation.
    • Create a mini park at entrance with water feature and benches.
    • Install stoplight at entrance for traffic calming.
    • Institute an “adopt-an-island” program to improve maintenance.
