Summer Fun 2005 The Fourth of July marks the middle of summer and time to gather with our friends and neighbors to celebrate.  It’s also a time to tend to the green spaces that enrich our lives and neighborhoods.  Here are some pictures from the summer of 2005. Omaha’s Finest lead out at the annual J.E George Boulevard Parade. It’s just not a parade without a band. And they are still going strong after more than a quarter century. What do you do when you have tree troubles?  Well, you make turtles…. ... Or totems On Independence Day it’s the Commercial Federal Free Concert in Memorial Park. This year we rocked out with the Doobie Brothers, Three Dog Night, Mulberry Lane and Salem Baptist Church Voices of Victory Choir and topped it off with fireworks. [Home Page ]
