Harney Street
Plaza - Upper Level

Place Gamers liked the access to the plaza from both the
Civic Center cafeteria and the street. The area is clean and
open with good views of surrounding buildings and provides
shelter from north winds.
They felt the space is large, bleak and sterile, largely
without color and visual identity. There is little in the
plaza to attract people and it lacks shade.
Short Term
-
Erect an outside awning – for shade and cover.
- Install moveable tables with umbrellas and chairs
for chess, checkers, eating and talking.
- Put in planters, trellises and window boxes
for greenery.
