Group 4 – Upper Levels

What the Place Game Team Liked Best

The group thought the upper floors afforded great views to the east of the urban environment with lots of natural light. They saw potential for open accessible and flexible spaces on floors 2 through 4.

What Could Be Improved

The team found the existing decorating bland, lacking color and too formal and institutional. They disliked the parallel arrangement of the stacks and cage-like study carrels. They also noticed a lack of inviting seating and seating is only for one. They felt the areas were not user friendly, and had no artwork, visible signage or plants.

Long Term

  • Construct a roof top garden.
