Metro Smart Cities is an initiative, formed in 2016, focused on starting pilot projects aimed toward solving transportation and mobility issues. It is led by a group of collaborative, regional partners in the Greater Omaha metro area, including Omaha by Design.
The Market-to-Midtown Bikeway is one of the pilot projects that will graduate from temporary initiative to permanent infrastructure alongside the streetcar route.
